Objective : "To find out of which Vegetable Oil or Nut Oil have the most level of vitamin A, E, D and the most nutrient"
Reason for determining vitamin : There are Vitamin A, D, E and K are oil - soluble while the others are water - soluble. And we found out that Vitamin K have less effect on skin and hair so we determine Vitamin A, E and D which benefit to skin and hair and promote skin and hair to be healthy and beauty.
Method :
Vitamin A : In - house method TE-CH-024 based on Compendium of Methods for Food Analysis Thailand, 1st Edition, 2003
LOD = 7; The method could be considered Vitamin A at 7 is the lowest level, if Vitamin A is less than 7 could not be guaranteed by this method, but they can be found Vitamin A at 1 - 6 by other methods.
Vitamin E : AOCS CE 8-89. (1993)
Vitamin D : AOAC (2005), 995.05
Determined Oil :
1. Apricot Kernel Oil
2. Olive Oil
3. Grape Seed Oil
4. Avocado Oil
5. Coconut Oil
Reason for determining oil types : These oils are mostly used as base oil in many kinds of products, such as cosmetic, food, medical, skin products, etc. There are rich of nutrients and contain of many kinds of vitamins.
Result :
1. Grape Seed Oil (Refined) - Italy see the test report

Notes :
Virgin : the oil was producted by the use of physical means and no chemical treatment.
Refined : the oil has been chemically treated to neutralize strong tastes (characterized as defects) and neutralize the acid content (free fatty acids). Refined oil is commonly regarded as lower quality than virgin oil.
